7/5/2008 Next 3 years of my life officially pinned down and sortedI spent most of the start of last week not really wanting to chat with anyone, even logged into MSN then sat woundering why i had done that,i did'nt want to chat so why??? I put it down to im going more crazy then i already was, must be something to do with being another year older haha. Had to get my older daughter a private tutor/one to one help, she has a sub mucus cleft palate as some of you already know, but for those who dont its effecting her school work, she cannot say some letters so cannot read some words, which means shes way behind on everything apart from maths. It took some searching for, not easy to find these tutors, especially when i live in middle of nowhere special. luckly my bro's g/f came to the rescue and pointed me in the right direction....(Thankyou lil bros g/f)! Anyway i have FINALLY sorted out where im going in life, how and when.(..i know shocking is'nt it haha, ...all comments put in a RTS enevolope Future goes like this- Next 3 years im doing a Diploma at Rhodec International, in Interior Design, (this past years Interior Design course was to get me back into the design field which i left when i was just over 18..hopefully done with success!) the course im doing----> www.rhodec.edu/ it also, if i pass it gets me the DipID, (Diploma in Interior Design) in front of my name which i need. The last year of the above course will be the last year of the BA(Hons), guess you could say like doing two courses moulded into the one.
Also doing alongside the above course a 1 year course doing www.icslearn.co.uk/it-technical-courses/trade-skills/intro-autocad/ , and after that year going onto an advanced AutoCAD course, will sort out where after i have finished the year.
End result after 3 years- Being qualified to either set my own buisness has an Interior Designer or work in an Architects office/ Interior Designer's office. as a designer or trainee CAD operator Get back to you on that one after 3 years! 11/5/2007 Module results for 3& 4MODULE 3-

ASSIGNMENT NOS 5&6 DUE BEFORE 31ST NOVEMBER 2007
10/26/2007 Plan A, Plan B and ooo Plan C too...This all seemed so much easyier to achieve a week ago hmmm!!
PLAN A- Visit the National Design Academy ask them if i carry on how im going do they think i will pass this course?what options if i do pass have i got? and can i do a Part 1 Architect course in America if i pass this couse? Can i do anything to widen my options?
ANSWERS- Carry on as is and yes im well on the road to gaining that distinction! Pass and i will have to go onto a higher course to qualify for a licencing, (so far ok) course in america living there a deffo no go,different states have different licences and british architects have a completely different one (ok,thats set it back hmm but not that far) Widen my options haaa the ultimate question, strongly advise against anybody asking this question!!, asking this simple question results in you walking away with at least a handful of printouts of said options available, plus the other hand full of prospectuses of every design course available, oh and folded in middle find a list of course fees to go with each prospectus, (now that sure to wake you up dam quick lol) and if thats not enough you also walk away more confuzed then when you walked in
PLAN B- Go through mountain of printouts and prospectuses finding the course thats most sutable or that i want to study finding one that as the heading (Part 1) Architecture would be real cool , then cheak if that course is within sensible posting distance (dam that RM and its postage costs), then when found the exact course phone up and enquire whats better phone up and enroll, the sooner the better, right?!? Now how difficult can that be hmm
ANSWERS- After spending hours and hours till ya nearly know every course in every pospectus and read every printout given find that not one of them as (Part 1)Architecture, so whilst feeling like theres no way your ever going to get where you want to go in life, re-read the second pospectus to find that hey all is not lost, i can do a BTec(HND)Interior Design& Interior Architecture as i was told (yay some course with the word architect involved),whilst jumping all over chairs looking a complete loony in front of the gals cheak out the course fees (great for bringing you back down to the floor with a 'BANG' ) !!
PLAN C- This is still in early thinking stage,!! ok, ill call this keeping my options very open stage, iv phoned up neccesary bodies, for student grants and loans, phoned up outside bodies for loans all not available to me as im wanting to do the courses as distance learning, hmmm, ok, advice given was phone up the UNI i want to do the course with and enquire if they can help or know any help with student grants, answer to that was 'no', but hey if i sit on my ass for another year they are trying to get a scheme up and running that will help 8/21/2007 Yay FINALLY my assignment results.....Module results for 1&2 finally....
